The Linkkit link builder creates a short URL and lets you configure the options that control where it redirects, how it is organized, and how clicks are measured. The same core fields are available when you edit an existing link.
Open Links and click Create link, or press C when you are not typing in another field. On mobile, enter the destination first and tap Continue to open the full builder.
Add a complete http:// or https:// URL. Linkkit checks the URL format and safety before allowing the link to be created.
Select a built-in Linkkit domain or one of your verified custom domains. Enter a short code, or leave it blank and let Linkkit generate one; the shuffle button generates another code.
Optionally add a link title, choose a List, apply tags, and add private notes for your team.
Use the footer tools for UTM parameters, targeting, A/B variants, password protection, expiration, and conversion tracking when those features fit the campaign.
Check the QR code and social preview on desktop, review the selected domain and short code, then click Create link. Linkkit copies the resulting short URL to your clipboard.
