Keeping your profile up to date helps personalize your Linkkit experience and makes it easier for your team to identify your account. You can customize your profile with your personal information, profile photo, and preferences to create a more professional workspace.

Accessing Your Profile

To update your profile, open the Account menu from the main navigation and select Profile. From there, you can view and edit your personal information, update your profile picture, and manage your account details.

Depending on your workspace settings, you may be able to update:

  • Full name
  • Profile photo
  • Email address
  • Job title
  • Company or organization name
  • Time zone and regional preferences
  • Account preferences

Be sure to save your changes after making any updates. Keeping your profile information current ensures a consistent experience across your Linkkit workspace and helps your team easily recognize your account.

Profile Details

Your profile information is used throughout your Linkkit workspace to identify your account and personalize your experience. Keeping your details accurate and up to date helps your teammates recognize you and ensures your account information is always current.

Take a few moments to review your profile and make sure it reflects the latest information before collaborating with your team.

Basic Information

The Basic Information section contains the personal details associated with your Linkkit account. Keeping this information accurate helps personalize your experience, improves team collaboration, and ensures your account details remain up to date.

Profile Photo

Add a profile photo to make your account easily recognizable within your workspace. A clear headshot or your company's logo works best, especially if you collaborate with other team members.

For the best appearance, upload a JPG, PNG, or WebP image with a minimum resolution of 160 × 160 pixels.

Changing Your Country
To update the country associated with your Linkkit account, please contact our support team. For security, compliance, and account verification purposes, country changes are reviewed and processed manually.

Profile Type

When creating your Linkkit account, you'll choose the profile type that best represents how you use the platform.

You can select one of the following options:

  • Individual – Ideal for freelancers, creators, marketers, and professionals managing their own links and campaigns.
  • Company – Best for businesses, agencies, startups, and organizations that collaborate with multiple team members.

If you choose Company, you'll also be asked to provide your company name. This information is displayed throughout your Linkkit workspace and helps identify your organization when collaborating with teammates or managing shared resources.

Identity Verification

To enhance account security, Linkkit may require you to verify your identity by uploading a valid government-issued photo ID. This helps confirm your identity, protect your account, and maintain a secure platform for all users.

Website & Social Profiles

Connect your website and social media profiles to personalize your Linkkit account and showcase your online presence.

Verifying your website confirms that you own the domain, while linking your social profiles helps create a more complete profile and strengthens your account's credibility.

You can connect platforms such as:

  • Your personal or business website
  • X (formerly Twitter)
  • LinkedIn
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • YouTube
  • GitHub
  • Other supported social platforms

Keeping these profiles up to date makes it easier to manage your brand identity and maintain a consistent presence across your Linkkit workspace.

About You

Your About You section gives teammates and collaborators a quick introduction to who you are. A well-written bio helps personalize your Linkkit profile and provides context about your role, expertise, or the work you do.

Include a brief summary that explains what you do, your areas of expertise, and how you use Linkkit. For example:

"I'm a digital marketer specializing in SEO, content marketing, and performance campaigns. I use Linkkit to create branded short links, manage QR code campaigns, and analyze traffic across multiple marketing channels. I enjoy turning analytics into actionable insights that help improve campaign performance."

If you're part of a company or agency, you can also mention your role, the industries you work with, or the types of projects you manage. This helps teammates better understand your responsibilities within the workspace.

For example:

"I'm a marketing manager at a SaaS company, where I oversee digital campaigns, branded link management, and conversion tracking. I work closely with our content and growth teams to monitor campaign performance and optimize user engagement using Linkkit's analytics and reporting tools."

Keep It Clear and Concise
Write a short, informative bio that highlights who you are and what you do. Focus on the most relevant details so others can quickly understand your role and expertise.
