Customize QR Codes in Linkkit
Description
Linkkit makes it easy to create QR codes that match your brand. Customize the appearance of your QR codes by adding your logo, changing colors, selecting different styles, and downloading them in multiple formats.
You can personalize QR codes while creating a new short link or edit them later at any time.
Logo Settings
With a Business plan, you can replace the default QR code logo with your own brand logo for a more professional appearance.
If you're using the Free plan, the default Linkkit logo will appear in the center of your QR codes.
Add a Custom QR Code Logo
You can use a custom logo in two ways:
- Workspace Logo – Applies to every QR code created in your workspace.
- Domain Logo – Applies only to QR codes created using a specific custom domain.
Option 1: Set a Workspace Logo
Apply one logo across your entire workspace.
Steps
- Open Workspace Settings.
- Navigate to Branding.
- Upload your company logo.
- Save your changes.
For the best appearance, use a square PNG or SVG image.
Once uploaded, all newly generated QR codes will automatically use your workspace logo.
Option 2: Set a Logo for a Custom Domain
If you manage multiple brands or products, you can assign a different logo to each custom domain.
Steps
- Open Settings → Domains.
- Select the domain you want to customize.
- Click Edit Domain.
- Enable Custom QR Code Logo.
- Upload your logo.
- Save your changes.
New QR codes created with that domain will automatically use the selected logo.
Customize QR Code Style
Linkkit lets you personalize the appearance of every QR code while keeping it fully scannable.

Choose the pattern used for the QR code dots.
Available styles include:
- Square
- Rounded
- Circular
The default option is Square.
Finder Center Style

- Square
- Circle
Finder Border Style

QR Code Colors
Personalize your QR code using your brand colors.

- A color picker

By default, both colors remain synchronized. If you choose different colors for the markers, they become independent, allowing greater design flexibility.
Generate QR Codes with the API
Developers can automatically generate QR codes using the Linkkit API.
The API supports:
- Workspace branding
- Custom logos
- QR code styling
- Multiple output formats
- Automated QR code generation
If a workspace or domain logo is configured, it can automatically be included in generated QR codes, depending on your API request.
For implementation details, see the QR Code API documentation.

These formats are suitable for websites, presentations, printed materials, packaging, posters, and marketing assets.

Tips for Better QR Codes
For the best scanning experience:
- Use a high-contrast color combination.
- Upload a clear, square logo.
- Avoid covering too much of the QR code with large logos.
- Test your QR code on multiple devices before publishing.
- Download SVG files for high-quality printing.
